Worcester Doors were approached by Kettering Council after we had been recommended to them by another approved contractor. Initially we had to undergo a very strict contractor approval system which we passed with flying colours, secondly we had to provide a detail quotation with exacting specification requirements, and finally we were awarded the contract based on quality and value and committed delivery schedule.
We successfully installed 4no galvanised roller shutter doors all having 3 phase motor operated by low level 24v push button stations, with manual override handchain assemblies incase of power failure, we also incorporated a very bespoke bottom rail to an exacting threshold detail where the door sat externally lower than the internal concrete floor slab thus preventing water and debris ingress into the building.
We also installed 3no single steel doorsets 2 of which had internal panic pads to allow quick exit and thus being fire exit doors, and we also installed a pedestrian door with stainless steel handles and euro profile cylinder locking to allow access into the building, these steel doorsets were finished in a powder coated finish of goosewing grey to match the external plastisol vertical cladding.
Kettering Council have been so pleased with our products and service we have since been awarded further contracts for themselves and look forward to working with them in the future.
